Two ways. (1) Directly on the Shopify thank-you page — Konfirm's checkout extension shows an OTP entry widget right after checkout. (2) Via the link in the SMS or email — tapping it opens a dedicated verification page where they enter the OTP and confirm or cancel.
No. Konfirm includes built-in SMS via Twilio and built-in email via Resend — zero setup required. If you want to use your own MSG91 or Twilio account (e.g. to customise your sender ID or use a DLT-approved template in India), you can optionally enable that in Settings.
On the Pro plan, Konfirm automatically retries up to 3 times at a configurable interval. Orders that expire without a response (after 24 hours) are tagged cod-expired so you can decide how to handle them.
Yes. Konfirm listens to the orders/create Shopify webhook and automatically detects COD orders based on the payment gateway. No manual tagging or intervention required.
Yes. Konfirm is GDPR-compliant and implements all three mandatory Shopify data webhooks. Customer phone numbers and emails are never sold or shared. Data is anonymised on request.
